About Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi was established in 1919 to encourage and to recognize scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting. Throughout the years, the organization has grown to include financial and information systems students and professionals due to the interrelated work.

The Lambda Chapter promotes, encourages, and provides resources for members pursuing any and all business-related careers, including banking, consulting, management/operations, accounting, marketing, etc. We also have many members pursuing future careers in law, engineering, and medicine. We appreciate the academic diversity within our fraternity and, by no means, are limited to one particular profession. Read more about the Lambda Chapter here.

The primary objective of the fraternity is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in business. This includes promoting the study and practice of business, providing opportunities for self-development and association among members, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.

Objectives
  • Recognize scholastic and professional excellence in the field of business.
  • Provide a forum in which students interested in business may interact with, learn more about, and create networks with working professionals.
  • To promote leadership, integrity, continuous learning, and service through participation in a variety of rewarding professional, social, and community activities.
